In addition to his academic work, Dr. Roopak has been associated with national news media houses as a development journalist, engaging directly with grassroots realities of environment, marginality, and conflict. Through his publications and ongoing projects, Dr. Roopak advances a coherent scholarly vision: to understand conflict not merely as a political event, but as a systemic outcome of disrupted relationships between humans, nature, memory, and communication.
